Walking in the dining space is very welcoming the service was great overall. Fresh garlic bread is brought to the table right after you receive your drinks with an antipasto, and a fresh garden salad topped with a house vinaigrette that's to die for. This is my third time coming here and the food gets better every time I definitely recommend. Don't leave without going out back to see the view!!

Came back today. I sat with the waiter Steven who treated me very well like family. The food was delicious I ate fried shrimp with a lobster tail and a side of broccoli. I sat outside by the water which was also very calming and nice. Not too hot outside at all today which was also very nice. If you can ask for Steven. If you ever visit. He's very hospitable and accommodating.

I am so glad that I got to experience eating here! The staff was super kind and attentive. We could feel the camaraderie and great relationships that the coworkers had with each other. The food was so delicious and the drinks were even better. The ambience had a seaside diner feel

THE BEST RESTAURANT IN THE WORLD!!! Melissa and Antonio were amazing characters. Both took care of us so well including my making custom drinks and Antonio telling us memorable stories. They truly care about customers and you can tell by seeing their interactions. Did I mention that the food was amazing and plentiful!? Lobster, salmon and calamari! Highly recommend will be back

Food was fantastic. Service was excellent. And couldn't ask for a better atmosphere for an afternoon meal on a Sunday.

We came to City Island Lobster House this past Sunday, craving a seafood feast. Let me say were not disappointed. We liked that the restaurant was at the beginning of the island, so you didn't have to deal with any traffic. The restaurant doesn't look aesthetically pleasing from the outside, but we were surprised by how large it is inside and the different dining areas they have. They have covered outdoor seating by the water, but with an impending storm, we opted to sit inside in a flowery green area with booth seating. Our server Jose was pleasant and pretty knowledgeable about the menu. The garlic bread was scrumptious, and the antipasto was tasty. For drinks, I had the tropical punch, which reminded me of rum punch. My girlfriend ordered the Blue Ocean which tasted like a pina colada. I ordered the 2 lobster tail platter for dinner, with garlic linguini and it came with corn on the cobb. The lobster tails were a nice size and broiled to perfection, and had great flavor. The snow crab legs were large and as equally delicious.

I've been coming here for years. The food is amazing! The service is second to none!! This place is where a must! From the moment you walk in you're greeted with a smile from everyone & the fresh smells from the kitchen! Fully stocked bar! When I used to drink my favorites were a strawberry mudslide and/ or apple martini. Victor always had one at the ready for me- thank you Compadre! I had a wonderful time this weekend with my Comadre and goddaughter & Teddy.

One of the best restaurant of City Island! Really good seafood and their garlic bread is the bomb! Location: It is located in City Island. There is a lot of seating inside and outside. I prefer the outside because it is by the water. There is huge parking lot. Service: the staff were nice, they are very attentive and give us recommendations. Food: The food is always good! Twice I have been here and it was always good. FREE GARLIC BREAD: omg this was the best garlic bread I had! It was so tasty and you can ask for more. BBQ FEAST: this feast is the dinner for two, but for real it can be until 4 people. Bbq back ribs and chicken was cooked well. Fried shrimp was my favorite, very huge shrimp. The lobster is big and lots of meat inside. LOBSTER HOUSE and LOBSTER FEAST: this is the second option for the feast dinner for two. 2 big lobsters, rice, shrimp, crab and corn. Personally my favorite than the bbq feast! SHRIMP and LOBSTER ALFREDO over linguine: you have to get this! The linguine was cooked al dente. The shrimp and lobster are huge! The sauce is tasty and creamy. TARTUFO: it is just an ice cream covered with chocolate Price rating: 7/10. To be honest the price is not bad for seafood and Italian pasta. I will definitely come back here if I am craving for seafood and Italian pasta.
